Sustainability/circular economy has become an important economic, socio-political, and environmental issue.
It is high on the political agenda, both in Germany and in Europe.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play a vital role in achieving the goals of the EU circular economy policy, as they form the foundation of the European economy, making up 99 Prozent of all businesses in the EU and employing two-thirds of all private sector employees.
The Erasmus+ funded project "Linear Turns Circular" aims to support SMEs in their transition to a circular economy, with a particular focus on the role of SME managers as drivers for change and process realignment.
The partners from Poland, Italy, and Germany have set out to make the circular economy more accessible to SME managers through three different learning methods.
Nachhaltigkeit/Kreislaufwirtschaft ist zu einem wichtigen wirtschaftlichen, soziopolitischen und ökologischen Thema geworden. Es steht weit oben auf der politischen Agenda - sowohl in Deutschland als auch in Europa.
Kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMUs) spielen eine wichtige Rolle bei der Erreichung der Ziele der EU-Kreislaufwirtschaftspolitik, da sie das Fundament der europäischen Wirtschaft bilden. Sie machen 99% aller Unternehmen in der EU aus und beschäftigen zwei Drittel aller Mitarbeiter:innen im privaten Sektor. Sie spielen daher eine besonders wichtige Rolle beim Übergang von einer linearen zu einer Kreislaufwirtschaft.
Das durch Erasmus+ geförderte Projekt "Linear Turns Circular" (L2C) hat sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, den Transformationsprozess zu mehr Kreislaufwirtschaft zu begleiten und kleine und mittlere Unternehmen dabei zu unterstützen. Hierbei spielen die Manager von KMUs eine besonders wichtige Rolle, da sie der treibende Motor für die Einführung von Veränderungen und die Neuausrichtung von Prozessen sind.
Die Partner aus Polen, Italien und Deutschland setzen sich dafür ein, das Thema Kreislaufwirtschaft für Manager:innen von KMUs durch die Verwendung von drei verschiedenen Lernmethoden zugänglicher zu machen.
Zrównoważony rozwój/gospodarka o obiegu zamkniętym stały się ważnymi zagadnieniami gospodarczymi, społeczno-politycznymi i środowiskowymi. Zajmują wysokie miejsce w programach politycznych w Europie.
Małe i średnie przedsiębiorstwa (MŚP) odgrywają istotną rolę w osiąganiu celów polityki UE w zakresie gospodarki o obiegu zamkniętym, ponieważ stanowią podstawę gospodarki europejskiej, stanowiąc 99% wszystkich przedsiębiorstw w UE i zatrudniając dwie trzecie wszystkich pracowników sektora prywatnego.
Finansowany przez Erasmus+ projekt “Linear Turns Circular” ma na celu wsparcie MŚP w ich przejściu na gospodarkę cyrkularną, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem roli menedżerów MŚP jako motywatorów zmian i dostosowania procesów.
Partnerzy z Polski, Włoch i Niemiec postawili więc sobie za cel uczynienie tematu gospodarki o obiegu zamkniętym bardziej przystępnym dla menedżerów MŚP poprzez trzy różne metody nauczania.
La sostenibilità ambientale e l’economia circolare sono diventate un'importante questione economica, socio-politica e ambientale. Esse sono una priorità nell'agenda politica, sia in Italia che in Europa.
Le piccole e medie imprese (PMI) svolgono un ruolo fondamentale nel raggiungimento degli obiettivi della politica dell'economia circolare dell'UE, in quanto costituiscono la base dell'economia europea, rappresentando il 99% di tutte le imprese dell'UE e impiegando due terzi di tutti i dipendenti del settore privato.
Il progetto "Linear Turns Circular", finanziato dal programma Erasmus+, mira a sostenere le PMI nella loro transizione verso un'economia circolare, con particolare attenzione al ruolo dei manager delle PMI, in quanto considerati motori del cambiamento e del riallineamento dei processi.
I partner di Polonia, Italia e Germania hanno quindi deciso di rendere il tema dell'economia circolare più accessibile ai manager delle PMI attraverso tre diversi metodi di apprendimento.
The European Green Deal strategy aims to promote the EU's ability to address the challenges of climate change and environmental destruction. A key element of this strategy is the promotion of sustainable industry, as the industrial sector is responsible for 20 percent of greenhouse gas emissions in the EU. Transitioning to a circular economy can achieve significant material savings and promote economic innovation. The EU's Circular Economy Action Plan aims to extend the lifespan of products and reduce the extraction and use of natural resources. By embedding sustainability criteria such as durability, repairability, and recyclability, consumer rights will be strengthened, and the circular principle will be brought to the forefront of production processes in all sectors.

Der europäische Green-Deal-Strategie soll die Bewältigung der Herausforderungen des Klimawandels und der Umweltzerstörung in der EU fördern. Ein Hauptelement dieser Strategie ist die nachhaltige Industrie, da 20 Prozent der Treibhausgasemissionen in der EU vom Industriesektor verursacht werden. Die Umstellung auf Kreislaufwirtschaft kann erhebliche Materialeinsparungen erzielen und wirtschaftliche Innovationen fördern. Der Aktionsplan der EU für die Kreislaufwirtschaft zielt darauf ab, die Lebensdauer von Produkten zu verlängern und die Gewinnung und Nutzung natürlicher Ressourcen zu verringern. Europejska strategia Zielonego Ładu ma na celu wspieranie zdolności UE do sprostania wyzwaniom związanym ze zmianami klimatu i niszczeniem środowiska. Kluczowym elementem tej strategii jest promowanie zrównoważonego przemysłu, ponieważ sektor przemysłowy jest odpowiedzialny za 20% emisji gazów cieplarnianych w UE. Przejście na gospodarkę o obiegu zamkniętym może przynieść znaczne oszczędności zasobów i wspierać innowacje gospodarcze. La strategia europea Green Deal mira a promuovere la capacità dell'UE di affrontare le sfide del cambiamento climatico e del degrado ambientale. Un elemento chiave di questa strategia è la promozione di un'industria sostenibile, poiché il settore industriale è responsabile del 20% delle emissioni di gas serra nell'UE. La transizione verso un'economia circolare può consentire notevoli risparmi di materiale e promuovere l'innovazione economica. Il Piano d'azione per l'economia circolare dell'UE mira a prolungare la durata di vita dei prodotti e a ridurre l'estrazione e l'utilizzo delle risorse naturali. Grazie all'integrazione di criteri di sostenibilità come la durata, la riparabilità e la riciclabilità, i diritti dei consumatori saranno rafforzati e il principio circolare sarà portato in primo piano nei processi produttivi di tutti i settori.

The Linear Turns Circular project uses the R9 approach as it particularly illustrates the concept of circular economy. Companies that are at the beginning of their transformation can more easily perceive the concept of circular economy and use it to question their own processes. The proposed 9R model can provide an insight and general understanding of circular actions and activities and serve as a first orientation to understand, plan and design individual processes.
Reducing the consumption of natural resources and promoting the recycling of materials are important strategies to reduce waste generation. To extend the life cycle of a product, energy efficiency and reusability should be considered. The aim is a closed loop where materials can be reused multiple times. Potting's 9R framework provides a hierarchy of circular strategies that are visually accessible. Potting categorizes the different measures into circularity levels, and the longer materials can be kept in the loop, the higher the circularity. However, there is no agreement on how many R strategies should be assigned to the framework.
Das Projekt Linear Turns Circular verwendet den R9-Ansatz, da er das Thema Kreislaufwirtschaft besonders gut veranschaulicht. Unternehmen, die noch am Anfang ihrer Transformation stehen, können das Thema Kreislaufwirtschaft leichter wahrnehmen und darauf aufbauend ihre eigenen Prozesse hinterfragen. Die Reduzierung des Verbrauchs natürlicher Ressourcen und die Förderung des Recyclings von Materialien sind wichtige Strategien zur Reduzierung der Abfallerzeugung. Um den Lebenszyklus eines Produkts zu verlängern, sollten die Energieeffizienz und die Wiederverwendbarkeit berücksichtigt werden. Das Ziel ist ein geschlossener Kreislauf, in dem Materialien mehrfach verwendet werden können. Das 9R-Framework von José Potting bietet eine Hierarchie von Kreislaufstrategien, die visuell zugänglich sind. Potting ordnet die verschiedenen Maßnahmen in Kreislauffähigkeitsstufen ein und je länger Materialien im Kreislauf gehalten werden können, desto höher ist die Kreislauffähigkeit. Es gibt jedoch keine Einigkeit darüber, wie viele R-Strategien dem Rahmenwerk zugeordnet werden sollten.

Le aziende che sono all'inizio del loro processo di cambiamento possono recepire più facilmente il concetto di economia circolare e utilizzarlo per mettere in discussione i propri processi produttivi. Il modello delle 9R proposto può fornire una visione e una comprensione generale delle azioni e delle attività circolari e servire come primo passo per comprendere, pianificare e progettare i singoli processi produttivi aziendali.
Ridurre il consumo di risorse naturali e promuovere il riciclo dei materiali sono strategie importanti per ridurre la produzione di rifiuti. Per estendere il ciclo di vita di un prodotto, occorre considerare l'efficienza energetica e la riutilizzabilità. L'obiettivo è un ciclo chiuso in cui i materiali possono essere riutilizzati più volte. Il quadro delle 9R di Potting fornisce una gerarchia di strategie circolari visivamente accessibili.
